In the Summer of 1990 JoLeigh toured with Jerry Harrison and the Casual Gods on a double bill with the Ramones. During the tour she became really good friends with Joey Ramone, and when they returned to New York, she sang with him for a while as a part of his side group The Resistance.
The Resistance was all about keeping the doors open on self expression and being able to keep dissent alive in a healthy democracy, something we always want to keep alive and well.
